New Server

Before I will go to ski,I have to post the most important thing in our clan. As you can see nowadays we're playing just on public servers that its not bad but everyone knows we need our own server for training and playing scrims. Well,my question is easy. Who vote for buy a new server ?! The server will be probably we're going to buy a public server with 12-16 slots where we can add a password when we need it. You can see on www.gameservers.com the prize of server... And second question is very important, who might pay for it? I'm looking forward to see your posts when I will be back. Bye and have fun

16player server costs abt 190 € (288 $) per year, or am I worng? Its quite a packet....

Well I thought we were about to buy privateone because its much cheaper and also that there is a several empty publics on 2.56
And then Elan said that GayLodr is making a server or what... Anyway I would donate something....

190 it would be 1.5euro per moth for 10 people or so....

I think that We need server because we haven´t any place for traning and another clan activities.

Well, it is true that I spoke with GayLodr and his friend is preparing server for us. We will see when it will be ready and then you can set up all things that we will have, so now we have to just wait and then we will see. The advantage of this server will be probably cost that will be low, I hope

Well, I think that everyone from us is using Windows. Other thing, maybe we could add some TJ maps for training. I think that the best way will be just created a server and then we can upgrade it and set up some stuff what we will need....

yes thats what i thing when the structure is done when we are sure server is working we can do many upgrades...

Equilibrium just wait .. im working on it ... this week we start "TEST" ... Elanius send me only baseline info for it ... i pay the server for us .. about donations we speek later when server work well .
PS : your problem is to get players there .. no players , empty server , NONE server , if we pay or not .i hope this isnt to hard for all of you

I don't know if i can partecipate with donation, at moment pay for other two ..... it depend of ammount

But any way i read somenthing arround the forum, and being passed before you, I would like some advice

1. Is this a clan or is a comunity? (Clan play for competion, war, comunity is for found "friends" on server and play with people you know .....)

2. When u decide abut the previus, u also have the module, becouse clan play in etpro and comunyties have many choise like pub, jmod, ... other s...t !

3. if u chooise to be a clan, remember that is impossible to have pubblic (non empty) server and play war on it. Or you must kick player for play war...... For example, look te666 (Comunity) server, they can't play war becouse the server isn't empty ....

This I say to make you think, I hope you not to make the same mistakes that I have done in the past

I would prefere public too... but there is always possibility to have the public locked at leat Elan said he would like that...

As I said I don't expect anything except that put the doubt to think about what you want.......
